Edwards Water Resources, LLC charges a fee of 5% of the total consideration of any water rights sales transaction, based on the total sales consideration due to the Seller. All fees due Edwards Water Resources, LLC are paid from the Water Rights OWNER who is selling the water rights, and not from the Buyer (unless otherwise specifically negotiated) and are due within 30-days of the receipt of the sales proceeds. Seller will warrant that there are no liens on the water rights at the time of sale or could face appropriate legal consequences.
Example: Let's say you want to sell 50 Acre Feet of Water to the "best bid' across the network and let's further assume that you want to sell 50 acre feet and not a portion thereof. We then go out on our database and network and help FIND YOU the best bid and present it to you for your approval.
In this example let's say we were able to find a bidder for the 50 acre feet at a rate of $6,500 per acre feet.
50 Acre Feet x $6,500 Per Acre Foot (PAF) = $325,000
Edwards Water Resources, LLC's fee is 5% of the total consideration or $325,000 x .05 = $16,250
Therefore the NET due to the Seller (in this example) would be: $325,000 - $16,250 = $308,750
